Keletso Thobega was born in Ramotswa, raised in Lobatse, and now lives in Gaborone. She is a professional development journalist and also a creative writer. She writes poetry, short stories and essays. Her work is published in the Botswana Women Write anthology released in 2019. In 2022 she self-published a chapbook titled Rebirth. In 2026 her work was published in an anthology of African writers by Narrative Landscape Publishers and Canex Book Factory. Some her work has appeared in literary journals Brittle Paper, Writers Space and Petlwana journal for Botswana writing. Thobega has completed two writing workshops in Botswana: Poetavango prose writing workshop in 2021 and Gaborone Book Festival and University of East Anglia writing workshop in 2022. In 2024 she completed the Canex residency for African writers in Ghana.
