AUTHOR BIO

Gae Maduo was born and raised in a quiet unassuming neighborhood in sunny Serowe. She spent most of her childhood playing make believe with her younger sister and soon realized that not only did she have a knack for telling stories, but she relished it. Gae Maduo began writing at nine years old, but her first published poem “Home with its faces” was written when she was homesick at boarding school at 17 years old. She went on to write two more published poems, a short story (fiction) and creative non-fiction work.
